QA Test Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for a test team of 7 to 10 members. The Test Manager will act as the single point of contact for all projects based testing deliverables. Work closely with Test Manager and Project Lead from San Diego. The Test Manager will ensure that all new/changed services meet business, operational and technical requirements.
The Test Manager will be accountable for the planning, directing and coordinating of all testing activities within a given project in line with the San Diego VQA Test Management Process. This includes test strategy definition, test resource estimation and allocation and scheduling activities, and test automation planning.
The Test Manager will also be responsible for communicating the output and progress of testing back to the project teams locally and to the San Diego teams.
Job Requirements:
3 to 5 years of testing experience and team management.
Knowledge of project lifecycle and in particular how testing activities fit in with overall project framework.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
To travel to US for 1 to 3 months for training and as needed.
Manage and lead the test team of 7 to10 members, including recruitment, mentoring, and staff
development; maintaining the master test project and resource schedules, developing test processes and procedures.
This role may also be very much hands-on Testing role at first when building the VQA lab in China.
