Since 1983, Empire USA ([attach]33140[/attach]) has been a world class International distributor of Electronic Components, IT & Computing, Custom and Standard Datacom Cabling & Networking Products. We are currently searching for a China based (prefer Shenzhen, GuangDong, HK) Purchasing Manager/Buyer with strong experience in price negotiating with authorized and open market independent suppliers of electronic component suppliers. All qualified applicants must have a minimum of 5-8 years electronic component buying experience, knowledge of logistics, computing skills, MS Office, and English speaking strongly preferred. Qualified applicants must have excellent ability to read and write English.

Description of Duties:
The Empire Electronics China Region Purchasing Manager/Buyer will be responsible for conducting business consistent with company ethical practices of “Trust, Honesty, and Integrity” at all times. Purchasing Manager/Buyer will be responsible for negotiation of acceptable pricing and payment terms, supplier/vendor development including: strict vendor verification and requesting of vendor bank and trade references, providing consistent support to the global sales force to ensure the future growth of Empire Electronics Inc. Other duties and responsibilities include ensuring product quality/integrity, tracking of inbound/outbound shipments and the proper routing of shipments to designated company ship to address locations and test lab partners. Additional responsibilities may also include; develop new supply partners/vendors, visiting key suppliers in and out of region/district, trade show attendance, and professional development workshops. The Purchasing Manager/Buyer will be responsible for maintaining and submitting accurate records of all company operating expenses and receipts for Empire Electronics Accounting Department. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for making hiring recommendations to Empire Corporate Management Team.
