Role Summary/Purpose:
The HDGE Commercial Manager works as a key member of the region team to support achieving the orders, sales, and margin targets for HDGE. Take the lead of assigned deals and be responsible for the deal bid preparation, bid submission, pricing strategy, contract preparation and negotiation, and complete project handover from ITO (Inquiry to Order) to OTR (Order to Remittance)
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for proposal development, scope development, cost/pricing estimates, formal bids risk management and mitigation, customer negotiations, customer communications and issue resolution; Become principal owner of the deals and driver of transactional and contractual details related to technical, financial, deal structure, and commercial inputs to support deal strategy and risk management processes, utilizing associated ITO tools; Mobilize multi-functional HDGE team to support proposal development - Application, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal, Project (OTR) etc. Review customer RFQ to ensure compliance with approved price levels, terms and cycle commitments; Prepare contracts, PO Acceptance/Acknowledgment, change orders to customer with right language and terms; Develop appropriate Terms and Conditions for customer proposals based on Risk / Reward Analysis; Work with related functions, and communicate / negotiate contract details with customers; Comply with and follow the appropriate processes with special emphasis on Policy requirements and guideline; Perform other related tasks (eg. order handling, appropriate reports provision, overall order execution overseeing with OTR team, etc.) requested by business
Qualifications/Requirements:
- University degree, electrical engineering preferred&;
- 4+ years commercial experience;
- Experience on bid preparation, pricing strategy management, contract preparation with right language and terms, contract negotiation;
- High motivation level self starter;
- Good written & oral skills in Mandarin and English;
- Good communication skill and teamwork spirit with multi-functional team;
- Good knowledge of international trade&;
- Demonstrated project management skill & ability to balance multiple priority/deals at a time
